I had always done my own nails because I could never find a nail spa with consistently good service.. Until I found Vanism. The quality and service is always incredible through and through. I have been a customer for almost 3 years now and I consider it a self care day every time I book! 10/10 would recommend.

I had dip nails done. The first appointment there were some issues with my nails a few days after getting them done. The salon ended up calling me after I reviewed and immediately apologized, offering to fix my nails at no cost. My nails look and feel amazing. The service was so great and she followed up again a few hours after my appointment to check on my nails. Thank you!

I had a pedicure and acrylic at this salon a long time ago. Now that I finally have time to leave a review, I want to say that I’ve highly recommend this place. Unfortunately, since I’ve moved, I can’t come back, but it’s definitely worth a visit for a great experience.

I used to like this nail salon for getting my nails done, but unfortunately, the quality and service have decreased while the prices have gone up.
I recently got a pedicure that turned out okay, but they were out of the first three colours I chose from their options, and one of my toenails got smudged on the first day which was disappointing. For my hands, I opted for dip powder, and it’s honestly one of the worst I've had. The layers are uneven, giving my nails a bumpy texture. I asked for an almond shape but ended up with nails that were mostly round. On top of that, the length is not consistent, some nails are much shorter than others. I’m posting pictures of my nails from underneath to show this.
I was also charged an extra $15 for removing my old gel polish and getting dip powder instead, even though the removal process is the same for both and I wouldn’t have been charged for removing old dip. I wasn't informed about this charge beforehand, which felt unfair and very expensive compared to the usual $5 most salons charge for removing shellac.
Overall, my recent visit was quite disappointing. Maybe the quality and service depend on who you get and varies between staff, which would explain some of the good reviews and mixed experiences.
*Edit (regarding the salon’s response)*: in the price list it doesn’t say anywhere that removing bio gel is $20. There is only a price for removing shellac. I’m adding the price
list from your website and social media so that you can see it’s not there and this can be corrected. Also, removing bio gel did not take double the time than dip powder. But either way I understand the need to increase prices for inflation and I’d be happy to pay for it if the quality was good and I was told about the exact extra charges in advance, just like I was told I was going to get charged $10 more for removing shellac on my toes. I was also never asked by anyone about the quality of the work and the service, so please don’t lie about this. In fact, I had to mention again in the middle of the service that I wanted almond shape because I was never asked if I was happy with the shape. I was not even told when the service finished after washing my hands, I had to go take the hand lotion myself so I never confirmed I was happy with it but I also didn’t complain in the moment, which I should have.
