Had a great experience at The Grand Pizzeria & Bar! Tried their Tuscan pizza and the Rigatoni al Pollo pasta, and both were absolutely delicious. The Laguna Blu mocktail was refreshing, and the tiramisu was the perfect way to end the meal. The patio is beautiful, and I loved being on George Street in the heart of the ByWard Market. Liked the place so much that I came back for a second time!
We love dining at Grand , it’s our favorite Italian restaurant in town, and it never disappoints! On our recent visit, we ordered a kids’ pizza, pesto pasta, and the truffle starter. Every dish was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. The food is so memorable that you’ll find yourself craving it long after your meal. If you’re looking for authentic, flavorful Italian cuisine, Grand is definitely worth a visit!
Excellent food and great value during happy hour. My partner had the Mafalde Alla Grand pasta and I had the Italian Pepperoni pizza. Both were deliciously cheesy and prepared to perfection. Service was attentive and fast. These were refreshingly complimented with a pitcher of rose sangria and a couple of pints of Pistol's Big Hoss IPA -- perfect after our 10km walk to The Grand!
This is our first visit to Ottawa and we happened to stumble across this gem spot. Delicious food and there are vegan options as well. The pizza’s dough and toppings were very authentic and flavourful. We also ordered the plant-based leek and mushrooms ravioli and omg the taste is out of this world. The waiter recommended trying their house-made hot sauce and it was definitely worth the try. It tasted so fresh and definitely delivered the heat.
The Grand is this amazing place that me and my friend went to go eat and chill after a day of walking all around town. Right when we walked in we were greeted by the hostess and the restaurant was beautiful, with the ambient lighting to the cool pictures and posters on the wall, it gave that nostalgic feeling. Thiago was our server and the BEST server who fairly looks like Cristiano Ronaldo! He recommended us some amazing food and drinks during happy hour, as well as having friendly conversations with to make sure we felt great. Anytime we're back at Byward, we'll make sure to eat at the grand once again!
