We placed an online order at 6:23 pm. The website (we ordered through the dutchie platform) advertises 20-30 minute delivery. At 7:39 with no delivery yet, we figured something might be going wrong, so we called to check on the status of the order and the employee on the other end assured us we would be the next order to leave the building, estimating it would be about another half hour. Another hour goes by. At 8:40, we call again, but it goes to voicemail twice. We check the delivery hours in the website, and it says deliveries stop at 8:00, so we assumed our order simply wasn’t coming. I hopped in the shower around 9:30 only to be interrupted by a phone call saying the delivery had arrived and needed to be collected. The courier seemed apologetic that I was soaking wet when collecting the delivery and said “it’s a busy night”. I have never felt compelled to leave a negative review on a local business, but this, in my view, is unacceptable. If an order placed at 6:30 will not arrive until three hours later, that needs to be communicated clearly to customers ahead of time. Really hope that our experience was an outlier and that this was truly an exceptionally busy night, but if not, very disappointing.
I ADORE this store! The staff is always excellent in their knowledge and service standards. I've had an amazing experience every time i've gone in. My favourite part other than the amazing staff: the really cool antique ash tray i got :)
Definitely one of my favourite places in the city to grab my cannabis from. The branding and the whole aesthetic of the store is very clean looking and stylish! The staff is absolutely amazing and super friendly. They also have good knowledge on what to get if you are new to the game. Keep up the fantastic work!
Update (Jan 2022): Still such an awesome store! One of my favourite in the region to order from. Love that they actually list the real % and terps when ordering. The budtenders actually know what I'm talking about when I call and ask about upcoming releases, which is a nice change from some other stores in the city where the staff isn't as engaged in the product. --- Incredibly genuine and kind people here! Customer service is extraordinary, and delivery times are actually pretty fast! Their offering of beautiful vintage pieces is worth checking out for sure.
Very knowledgeable staff. When I asked for something particular, they gave me 3 different options. They were also extremely friendly and very honest about their product. I don't need to go to the franchises as they are all have the same product while The Good has higher quality product. I will be only going there from now on.
