We recently hired Stan’s HVAC to take care of some extensive ductwork at our new rental property, along with installing bathroom ceiling vents and fans—and WOW, what an incredible experience from start to finish! First off, they actually showed up on time (a rare and much-appreciated thing these days), and from the moment they arrived, their professionalism was evident. The team was courteous, respectful of the property, and extremely communicative throughout the entire project. They kept us in the loop at every step, explaining what they were doing and why, and made sure we were comfortable with the work being done. The quality of their craftsmanship is top-tier. The ductwork was done cleanly and efficiently, with thoughtful placement that’s clearly the result of real experience and care. The new bathroom fans are whisper-quiet, powerful, and look fantastic. Frank the service tech is a life saver! Originally I had called Francis Home Environment and they didn't even want to look at my furnace! They told me to just buy a new one! " Roughly $13,000 with A/C unit". Frank from Stan's took my call and figured out the problem in under 5minutes and was done in under 20mins! My furnace is running like new again! "$150+ taxes". Thank you!!
Had some furnace problems with a 14year old furnace. Stan's came in 2nd cheapest overall but it was for a 2 stage. All the other quotes were for single stage "builders" models, none of the other 2 stage models came close. Installation was quick, the work was super tidy (the tied back loose thermostat cables, all the venting is run to take up less space and looks way nicer). Staff were friendly and cleaned up after themselves and pointed out some key points to keep the warranty up to date which is helpful, I don't know if I would have fully read the fine print. The office and quotes came in quickly, payment was easy (cheque or e-transfer, understandable with CC fees). A1 - when we get into water heater or A/C replacement they'll be the first call.
I was out of town and got a notification my furnace was running but the heat wasn’t going up (it had dropped 3 degrees) through our Nest thermostat. We contacted Stan’s and within 40 minutes they were at our house and within another 20 had diagnosed the issue on our 7 year old Trane furnace. Excellent dispatch time, diagnosing time, and overall experience. Our technician Manny walked me through what the issue was when he was there on site and explained exactly the part he was replacing. All in it cost me 1.5 hours and a $25 dollar part and I had heat back running wishing 5 hours of it stopping! Cannot recommend Stan’s enough and especially a big thank you to Manny!!
We had a leak in our hydronic furnace coil a few days before the Christmas holidays started. Originally, we called the company whose sticker was on the furnace and that company gave us a misdiagnosis, suggested fixes that weren't possible, and could end up costing us a ton of money just to "see" if it would work. We called Stan's and right away, we felt more comfortable, they came to assess the situation, explained everything to us and we realized we had to replace the furnace and the AC as a unit. There was an initial sticker shock at the price, but when you consider it took 10 hours of labour for two people, plus the parts, it makes sense. Let me tell you how hard these professionals worked. I was so impressed with their work ethic, they didn't stop till the job was done. The space they had to work in was a small condo utility room and they made it work. They had to do custom piping and duct work to make it work for the space. If someone tells you they can just replace a coil on a hydronic furnace they're not telling you the truth. I saw what they had to do to get into the unit and it's not possible. I would hands down recommend Stan's again. They were professional, kind, thoughtful, and they did honest work. They also explained everything which helped us understand the issue. They made us feel like we were a priority. They worked together as a team and that's what separates them from others. It's not a technician vs the office vs sales, it's a unit of people working together to find a solution. And they worked with us with payments. We had the option to do multiple e-transfers over two days and that made a big difference to us. Well done, Stan's you really came through when we needed help and you did a fine job. Thank you for ending our heating nightmare.
