Disappointing Experience - Schalac Manicure Didn't Last.
I recently visited this salon and opted for the Schalac manicure, expecting a long-lasting finish. Unfortunately, my polish started chipping after just three days, which was disappointing considering the price point.
While the salon's service and ambiance were pleasant, the durability of the manicure fell short of my expectations. For a premium nail treatment, I expect a longer-lasting result.
*Pros:* Friendly staff, nice atmosphere
*Cons:* Poor polish longevity

Went in just to remove tips and shellac and somehow ended up getting charged for a manicure as well which I did not ask for. Apparently I was asked under the breath which I couldn’t understand. I mentioned that I didn’t ask for a manicure and I was ignored and still charged $40. I will never go here again, beware you will be charged for extra services.

Got Solar Gel nails done, and the next day the nails started to chip off. When I called they seemed to be surprised and unhappy to fix it.
I've asked if this will happen again when I went to get it fixed and they assured to come back anytime to fix it if that happens.
Few days after fixing nails started to chip and fade again.
They rushed the process and use poor quality products I think. I wanted to try an support a local business yet so frustrated by how they simply ignored when I went there to get it fixed. They really don't care about the customer experience. Only get the job done and move on. Happy or unhappy not their problem. Customer experience is key to run a healthy business. Not simply faking to be friendly and happy to get the business, but to care less about a situation if anything goes wrong with their product/service. Trust and word of mouth is key.

My daughter and I had such a lovely experience in the beginning of our manicures. We went in for a simple shellac manicure. The ladies kept asking us to get "the dip" shellac. We declined, but they persisted. I asked if it cost extra TWICE. The ladies replied it was the same cost as the regular shellac. We said fine and at the till, she proceed to charge us $50 each.We were shocked, and I replied that we were quoted by this same woman who was charging us, and the woman who did my daughter's nails as "the same price as shellac". She ignored my complaint and charged us. I am so disappointed in this deceitful behaviour. While my nails were being done, the lady was pressing me to get my eyebrows waxed! Excuse me? I literally just did them.
We were going to buy gift certificates for family for Xmas, but we will take our business to their competitor. I found it funny while paying that there wasn't a tip option. When is there not a tip option at a nail place? I guess the extra $15 was a tip for themselves. We should have paid attention to the negative reviews before we went.
