My 2016 Black Pearl Honda CR V had multiple significant, solid scratches running from the rear passenger door to the rear bumper, caused by kissing against an immovable object. Not knowing much about body work, I was told to go see Peter at Scotty's Auto Body Shop on Gladstone Avenue. Arriving there, I went to the Front Office and was pleasantly greeted by the Office Booking Receptionist/Accounts Manager. I asked to speak with Peter and was met with a big hello and a hearty handshake from Peter himself. I explained my situation, and we both went outside to survey the damage. Having examined the scuffed panels, Peter went inside the shop and came back with some supplies and a multi-speed buffer. He then explained that the scratches weren't that deep and could be buffed out with a compound and then waxed. While Peter worked his magic on my scuffed-up panels, he told me that Scotty's was a Family-owned business that his Father had started, and his Mom managed the Office and was the person who initially greeted me. It took Peter about 10 minutes to work his magic, and the long, multiple scratches disappeared. I asked Peter what the cost was, and to my surprise, he gave me a big smile, a solid handshake and said: "There you go". I was born and raised in a very small town in Southern Alberta, and I instantly remembered how it felt to have genuinely good, honest people help you out. I would highly recommend taking the time to go see this Proud and honest Family-run Auto Body Shop if the need arises!!.
I have brought my car to Scotty's twice and have been more than satisfied both times. Their level of care and professionalism is top-notch and their prices are reasonable. They go above and beyond, and they got my car back to me early!
Can’t recommend these guys enough, wouldn’t go anywhere else in town. I’ve been 3 times, most recently had some front end work needing a new bumper, headlight and hood alignment. Fred was amazing at keeping in touch with me throughout the repairs, and was able to get the parts at exceptional prices. Labour was more than fairly priced (as always) and they even fixed some unexpected damage behind the bumper at no extra charge. If you need any sort of body/paint/general repair done these are the guys, they have an appreciation for cars and always take the time to ensure you get your vehicle back just the way you want it. Oh and they always return the car freshly washed :)
I came in with a small but unusual issue - not every shop is willing to take on something like that. Here, they immediately understood the situation, took a close look, and предложили a clear solution. Everything was done quickly, professionally, and with great attention to detail. You can tell they really know what they’re doing and actually care about the result, not just getting you in and out. What also impressed me was the price - very fair for the quality of work. Overall, I’m very satisfied. If you’re looking for a place that won’t overcomplicate things or overcharge you, but will just get the job done right - I highly recommend them.
Honda CRV - had a crumpled door bumped & painted plus some rust repaired on the inside of a door jamb - Peter was like someone I could hang with, such a pleasant & helpful fellow - treated me like he was helping an old friend … then the best part: perfect paint match on a 13 yr old car, flawless paint finish PLUS a few added niceties & touchups that were never discussed - I will never consider going anywhere else for body & paint and would only ever recommend Scotty’s to friends & family
