I bought 2 top of the line taps to replace ones that were past their prime and no longer reliable. It's a simple job. I wanted to hire someone local, to install them, so I contacted this 1 man business. I saw 34 reviews and a 5 star rating. In hindsight, that should have been a red flag, especially for any plumber. After enough noise to wake the dead, I decided to see what all the banging and commotion was about. Instead of installing the new taps like the old ones, he had soldered the first one with the handle twisted up into the ceiling. As calmly as I could, I spoke my concerns. He bellowed over top of me, pretended nothing was wrong but finally agreed to position both of them correctly. Perhaps because I bought Home Depot's finest quality replacements, he may have decided to run up the bill a bit by installing the first tap twice. The bill even had a $25 "truck charge". Very creative. By then, I knew I made a mistake. I will shop around next time. I encourage anyone to check the credentials of any tradesman. For insurance purposes, that should include a plumbers license from the Ontario Department of labour.

Frank is awesome!! He came within a few hours as I had a leak under my shower. He didn't charge me for coming to diagnose it . Came back to fix it and the price was decent. He even gave me advice on how to fix something else myself. Great guy
