Perfect repair. Got the quote from Joe: very competitive price. Without asking, my dad got a quote from Kingston, ON that was much higher and they said the door could NOT be salvaged (which is apparently NOT true). Had to wait some time before we could do the repair on our end. Even though we lost the paper copy, M B Auto keeps good records so they had the quote on file. Work was done perfectly, it was done first thing in the AM the day they said it would be done. You cannot notice at all, the work is perfect. Got to talk to the dad of the garage who explained the high standards he has for the body shop staff including perfectly matching the colour (to the rest of the car). My wife is completely ecstatic with the results. Highly recommend this shop.
Had so many issues with my insurer but Mike at M.B did a great job done quickly and right also kept me in the loop constantly if it weren't for mb I would still be arguing with my insurance provider
My JEEP needed multiple rusty spots repaired. Mike quoted a much more reasonable price than the other two quotes I got in the area, including one bodyshop who said they couldn’t take a dent out of my steel bumper which MB Auto body readily took care of! Mike said I could swing by anytime to check on progress and when I did, he walked me through the work they were doing. A sign of quality work - the bronze-coloured steel bumper has multiple, black bolts. He showed me where my bumper was completely dismantled and each bolt & nut was cleaned up & painted black and the bumper pained bronze. They didn’t take shortcuts and that shows in the finished product. Prior to pick-up, they buffed the entire vehicle making it look like new again! I’m very pleased with their work and highly recommend them!
They provide great, fast, and reliable service at a fair and competitive price, and they do it with a smile. I brought my car in for a front body repair and it was ready the next morning—like new! I highly recommend this auto body shop!
Update 2: Brought the car to two different mechanics after MB’s awful service, they both confirmed the parts put in by MB auto were faulty/defective and not properly installed. RUN AWAY!!! Paid $1,300 for a quote we never got. Clearly an illegal business as they don’t even charge taxes, reg flags everywhere. First it was $8,000-$10,000. Then it magically turned to $12,000 just before we told him to do the work. We got upset and said at $12,000 we’re scraping the car and buying a new one. He then said he can do it for $6,000. We didn’t get the work done because who knows how much they’ll charge in the end. Update 1: We took it to the Mercedes certified mechanic and the accurate quote was $32,000 with an extra potential $10,000 for in inaccessible parts. They charged nothing for the quote were honest and suggested to just buy another vehicle. The car is worth $20,000 on a good day, for a shop that sells and fixes cars MB Auto should have said the same if they were honest. Clearly the mechanic just wanted money and had no clue what he was talking about.
