Absolutely the worst business we have ever dealt with. Purchased a brand new 2020 Wrangler from Southbank in November 2019 and 4 years later we are still waiting on Southbank and CARSTAR Southbank to properly complete paint repairs covered under the FCA warranty. Excuse after excuse given by Guy Parker, Dan O’Neil, Madeleine O’Neal, Brent Rodgers and Sean Russet, stating that the delays and poor workmanship are due to their incompetent staff at their CARSTAR, yet they have done nothing to address the issue. Fiat Chrysler has acknowledged the defective paint on all their Wranglers since 2018 to 2023 and approved replacement parts, such as; hinges, hoods, doors, windshield frames but good luck getting them repaired properly, especially at any of the Southbank group of dealerships or CARSTAR locations, they will just pressure you to buy a new car from them instead.
I went to Carstar at Southbank to take care of a windshield chip and was very impressed with the team's knowledge and service. It was an easy in and out experience with a life time warranty. They also went above and beyond to look at a few concerns I had with possible rusting on my car doors. They quickly said that it wasn't rust and I should contact my dealership as it looked like a paint defect ... sure enough there had been a recall on the paint that I wasn't aware of and got my car back to my dealership right away to have it fixed!! Very impressed and have already referred friends and family to them. These are honest and trustworthy people who will only sell you/fix what you need.
My windshield took a hard hit from a piece of rock coming off a logging truck tire. The damage was so deep I'm surprised my windshield didn't crack right across. I called Carstar glass on Johnston Rd late in the afternoon yesterday and they arranged for me come in this morning before the deep chip and spall became a long crack. They also explained how to help prevent a spread of the damage until I could get there. It was a close thing, but they were able to repair the deep damage and another more typical windshield chip and I'm good to go at no cost. Insurance paid for it. Thanks guys, you saved me about $600.00.
Our 2020 Jeep Grand Cherokee recently got rear ended and we brought it to Carstar, SouthBank Dodge, Ottawa. We were assisted by Joey Murphy and we couldn’t be happier. Joey was knowledgeable, super professional and very friendly. Not only was the work done ahead of schedule , but it was immaculately done! Excellent service as usual. My bud, Dan O'Neil, provided prompt and professional service. Got my Journey SUV tuned-up, replaced the thormostat as it was tripping the engine light, and induction service. I have no problem recommending Southbank Dogde Chrysler service whatsover.
