Great experience, took our CRV to Carstar North (Honda Ottawa) after a minor accident, Chris looked at vehicle and indicated he would make it look like new. And he did, everything done to factory specs and told, if we have any concerns bring it back.
I recently took my car in to have a door replaced. The staff at this location are friendly, professional and honest and the service was excellent. They completed the work on time and did a superb job. They even washed the outside of my car for me (believe me, it needed it). I'll definitely be coming back for all my future maintenance and repairs. Thank you, Carstar, for such an excellent experience! Highly recommended!
One of the best experiences I've had. I was stressed to say the least, my first accident so I wasn't sure what to do or where to start. George, the manager, greeted me, and was super helpful. He walked me through the entire process. From starting a claim to booking me in for repairs. When the day came to drop off I forgot to book a rental and to my surprise he had one booked already. He told me the repairs would take a week but called and told me the car was ready only 2 days early. I highly recommend this shop. By far the best!!!

Horrible experience here, don’t take your car here for rust repair. I first brought my car in for an estimate in March of 2024. There was a small rust spot on the passenger side rear quarter panel about the size of a dime, and the curved metal arch that shapes the wheel well had rust bubbling on both sides. They quoted about $3k to repair and repaint both panels; their first opening was about 10 weeks ahead. So I dropped it off at the start of June, and about a week later it was done. When I got back and saw it there was still bubbling under the thin curved metal in the wheel well and there was even bubbling under the paint where the rust spot was on the quarter panel from improper drying. When I showed them they said they could redo it, but they didn’t have an opening until late July. So I brought it back then, someone told me it would be ready the same day (which doesn’t seem realistic, but just noting what I was told), then somebody else told me it would be at least a week. A week passed, I called again and they said it’s not ready yet, we’ll call you when it is. Another week goes by, I call them and they tell me yes it’s ready you can come pick up anytime. (They didn’t even call me when it was done, I had to call them). This time when I went to see it, it was raining so I couldn’t tell but there was STILL paint bubbling on the curved metal that shapes the wheel well. The other rust spot appeared to be fixed though. They told me they had to weld in new metal, and you couldn’t even tell, that’s about the only good thing about all of this, but now I’m wondering whether they even welded anything at all because now, less than 8 months later, the same rust spot is back and the bubbling under the wheel well on both sides is worse. I regularly washed my car all winter (at the touchless car washes) and even if I didn’t, rust does not show up after just one winter. So they either didn’t fix it properly, or they didn’t get rid of all the rust (I think it’s both, because as I said before, there was still bubbling under the paint in the wheel well) I now see why they explicitly state that rust repairs have no warranty, likely since they don’t repair it properly to begin with.
