In searching for a fireplace insert before Xmas I followed the usual google search route for fireplaces and inserts. After visiting a few of the typical outlets I had found, I thought I had been informed on a choice. Bedford Home Heating was on that list but not your typical store front to visit. I left a message and JP called back in the middle of his work day to discuss my needs. I realized that he was well informed and someone I needed to talk to. He came out to my place to look over the situation and advise on a recommendation and also advise on the pluses and minuses of my preselected insert. In the end I chose the insert he recommended, which was cheaper than my preselected insert. We decided on the various accessories and he submitted the purchase request to the company. After several weeks he received the insert and arranged for a installation, on the Saturday before Xmas, which was perfect for us as family was coming after Xmas. All other outlets promised delivery only later in the new year. JP came out on the Saturday, after some early morning jobs, and did the complete installation by himself, in an efficient and respectful manner over about 6 hours, as promised. He did an excellent job of coaching us through the necessary operational streps. Then he went on to several other jobs. JP is very well informed and knowledgeable in the HVAC field, very straight forward, reliable and easy to deal with. I wouldn't hesitate to use his services again.
Our fireplace had not been working for close to five years. Thankfully I was referred Bedford home heating . JP was the only technician through all the years to take all of the parts appart to diagnose the problem and fix it properly. All along he explained issues, options and was attentive to our needs. Touched base to provide updates while waiting for the ordered parts. My experience with Bedford home heating has been amazing and flawless and can’t recommend the company enough. I called Bedford Home Heating to come in and assess an ignition issue with my gas fireplace. I spoke with JP and had a very good first impression right off the bat. This was verified, and further amplified, when he arrived. JP really knows his stuff; he had the fireplace up and running in short order. Even better, he also made a few cosmetic adjustments and it looks, and runs, better than it ever has. He also provided a furnace inspection, and his knowledge and attention to detail were again very apparent. JP and Kyle have installed our new gas fireplace. The did the demolition and removal of our old fireplace and the surrounding marble and mantle. We were very impressed with the work. They were on time and worked quickly and took the time to explain exactly what they were doing . JP provided quite the tutorial on how to use the new fireplace correctly .
