It was one of the coldest days in January 26, my blower fan went on my furnace. I called Ambassador Dearie on a Thursday morning, they sent a tech by the house 2 hours later, and they confirmed it was a blower fan and it fried the main computer board on my 20 year old furnace - it wasn't worth it to get it fixed. They provided me with a quote for a new furnace an hour later and my new furnace was installed the following day! The techs were fast and efficient - they did a wonderful job. I would recommend this company in a heart beat and the price was right too! Thank-you all for an excellent job - I finally had heat again.
Amazing service, fair price! We did not choose this Hvac by searching for "the best near me", we just called the number on our furnace sticker (we thought there was no time to shop around) and we are quite happy that we did. Our furnace room had a smell of gas and while it wasn't too strong, we were not going to take any chances. The person who took the initial call told us clearly that this would be charged as an emergency response since it was Sunday. The technician called within the 15 min. of the first dispatch call and told us his arrival time (within the next 2 hours) and was on time arriving to our home. He was amazing, explained everything he did, put our minds at ease and even answered some basic home-owner questions without being condescending. He even made a followup call an hour later to make sure we made the changes on our thermostat and water heater that he had suggested. I am not often blown away by people we contract to help with the house, but this one was a gem! I am keeping their sticker on the furnace :)
Non responsive and they keep sending technicians that are not knowledgeable. UPDATED: The owner reached out and was very kind and professional. He came in himself to my house with his technician the next day and thoroughly explained the situation. He was able to promptly address my issue and it is now resolved. I appreciate how knowledgeable they were and the effort put into solving the issue. He also kindly explain additional heating tips and how to ensure my home is efficiently heated. They care about customer satisfaction. Thank you.
I reached out to Ambassador Dearie after learning our furnace would need to be replaced. They had the most competitive price out of the three companies I reached out to. They installed our AC a few years ago with no issues since so we knew we were in good hands. The technicians were available promptly and worked around our tenants schedules to install the furnace. Bob was informative and responsive when it came to coordinating the install. The whole experience was painless. I’d recommend Ambassador Dearie for any HVAC work you need!
A D has provided regular maintenance on our furnace for six years. Calls to the office always answered promptly by a pleasant human being! Our furnace was installed in 1999, coincidentally by A D, when the house was built for the first owner. They never pushed us to replace it, but provided regular service. This year the motor finally began to fail. Upon inspection, it was confirmed. They gave us a choice to repair or replace the furnace without pressure. Opting for replacement, they were attentive. Bob T. arrived at the agreed appointment time, inspected our unit again, confirmed and explained the replacement process. He presented a quote, and facilitated our schedule for replacement. I was pleasantly surprised at the reasonable cost for a Lennox furnace, 90K BTU, two stage, 96% efficiency. Financing was an available option (not required in our case). Day of; two installers arrived early; bonus! They were conscientious about minimizing mess and attentive to carpet and walls when bringing in new, and removing old, equipment. All done in under three hours. Three weeks in and the furnace, I believe, is working as per specifications. House is warm and comfortable. Ambassador Dearie gets full marks! They will continue to be our heating and a/c equipment provider of choice as long as we live in Ottawa. In our experience, they've met or exceeded our expectations in every interaction, which can't be said for every business we've dealt with. We hope that is the case for others.
