Warning to any property developer or owner considering ABC for a new build or large renovation project. ABC was subcontracted by Arrow Services to handle plumbing, HVAC, and electrical on my 6-unit multi-family new build. (the largest single contract awarded in the contract) Within the first year, two separate AC units have failed and there has been a plumbing leak. When I reached out to have the warranty honoured, ABC refused to send anyone or respond to repeated outreach. Citing payment issues with Arrow. My tenants have been living in 80°F+ apartments in spring, I've had to bring in a third-party HVAC contractor at five-figure cost out of my own pocket, and I've spent significant time documenting and administering what should have been a simple warranty call on brand-new equipment. Multiple emails, over a week of silence, no response. When a contractor walks away from warranty obligations on brand-new equipment in a multi-six-figure project, that tells you everything you need to know about how they'll treat you post-contract. I strongly advise any developer, property manager, or building owner to think hard before allowing ABC to be awarded work on a project where accountability matters. *This review will be revised should ABC step up to their obligations.
I am so impressed with this company. I called them about a water leak and the technician was at my door in less than a half-hour. He was courteous and professional, explained the issue, and put in a temporary fix that stopped the leak and allowed me to turn my water back on. He explained what he did and left me a detailed quote for a new piece of equipment. The next day another friendly and professional employee came early and installed the permanent fix in less than an hour. Not only was he fast and thorough, he had found some savings on the equipment and the final price was less than was quoted. I highly recommend this fantastic company!
On the recommendation of a family member, I hired ABC Plumbing to take care of the disconnect and reconnect of my kitchen sink plumbing when I had new counter tops installed. The process for booking the appointment was seamless and they were very accommodating when I was given very short notice of the counter top installation date. The work on both days was completed perfectly and in a very timely manner. The plumb, Chad, even accommodated a pre-existing appointment and was able to fit me in for the reconnect saving me another day of “pioneer life” living without water in the kitchen! ABC Plumbing is a great company to deal with and I can't recommend them highly enough.
Caleb came to fix an issue with the HVAC in my condo unit and did a great job with it. He was very professional and cleaned up after fixing the issue. Would recommend and if I have HVAC issues in the future I wouldn’t hesitate to deal with him again. Thank you!
