Very happy with the job Spoke to Rob over the phone after finding him on Internet. He arrived as scheduled, analyzed the problem, cleaned and fixed our fireplace. He also checked our furnace if any service work needed. The quote was very fair as he was dealing with a 15 year old gas fireplace. Amazing experience from start to finish! Our gas fireplace was making a concerning noise when it would ignite and it seemed unsafe to turn on. It is our main source of heat so we were happy that Rob was able to help us so quick. He found and fixed the issue and cleaned the fireplace. It looks better than it has since we’ve lived here and it’s working perfectly. He is professional and knowledgeable. We love supporting independent businesses when we can and we will be calling Rob next time we need service.
We needed a new pilot light in our older gas fireplace and had given up hope of getting it repaired before the holidays and coldest parts of winter set in. We reached out to SHC and they were able to order and replace within days. Rob was great--professional, personable, and skilled at what he does. I even got a bonus tutorial on how the ignition process works. When all was said and done, our fireplace is running better than ever. Rob cleaned the glass and added some glowing embers. I honestly can't remember our fireplace ever looking as nice as it does now. Highly, highly recommend.
Thought we smelled gas coming from our fireplace so called Rob to come check it out, he did a very thorough check to make sure everything was safe including the furnace room in case anything was coming from there. Explained everything clearly and even cleaned up the fireplace and made sure everything was lighting properly. Really appreciate his advice to get a natural gas detector for peace of mind as well. Would definitely recommend him, thanks Rob!
