We had a fantastic experience with Scott Home Comfort Heating Cooling. The technician did an excellent job fixing our gas fireplace—everything is now working perfectly. He was very professional and took the time to clearly explain what the issue was and how it was resolved, which we really appreciated. It gave us great peace of mind. On top of that, he went above and beyond by cleaning the entire fireplace, both inside and out, and left the area spotless once the work was completed. Excellent and efficient work by Rob Scott. He changed my pilot light assembly of my 20 years old majestic fireplace and it works perfectly now. He takes the time to explain what the problem was and how he's fixing it. He also suggested to change the old valves around it for newer/safer ones and changed them on the spot for us. He was also available quickly to fix my issue which is nice as I had been waiting for 6 weeks to hear back from another company. He's very knowledgeable and experienced as he's been in the business for 40 + years. Would recommend him to friends and family. Thank you Rob!
At around 8:30am on a Saturday morning, we discovered that our gas fireplace would not turn on. I did a quick Google search and came across SHC and read some positive reviews of Rob's work. I gave him a call and explained our situation and he was at our place fairly quickly. Only three hours after discovering the issue, our fireplace was working perfectly thanks to Rob. Don't be thrown off by him not having a website. He's a small business that relies on reviews and recommendations and I would definitely recommend you give him a call if you need work done on your fireplace.
Rob was a pleasure to work with. He’s personable, knowledgable and efficient. He diagnosed the issue with the fan in our older fireplace and quickly offered a great choice of solutions. We are very pleased.
We called Rob on Sunday for a BBQ line install, he came by Monday to have a look at the area, detailed what he needed to do.
