Service was fantastic! Our furnace died in the night and we called around a number of different places, with the earliest time being two days from now that we could have someone out to take a look at our furnace (it’s winter and the house is cold!). Most places wanted us to subscribe to a care package plan in order for them to come out and see us. Rick Menard was much more accommodating and had a technician sent out within a few hours. Service was great enough that we won’t even shop around for other quotes and will have our furnace replaced with them in the next few days. Fantastic customer service!

I dealt with Alain of Rick Ménard Heating and Cooling to enquire about a new hot water boiler to heat my bungalow. Alain is a sympathetic individual, well knowledged and with no sale pressure open to accept any of my questions, anytime. After my additional own researche and his good advice, I decided to purchase a high performance boiler installed by himself seconded by two good employees of the company. Overall, excellent service and excellent product suggested and chosen. Having moved into the Ottawa area just over a year ago (from London, ON), it was important for us to find reputable service and tech companies to deal with. Menards had installed the furnace in our “new” home and so they were our first contact… I have found them to give outstanding customer service and support at the office and admin level to the technician who arrives at the house… we have had Eric twice now for regular maintenance… he takes the time to explain what’s he’s doing and makes recommendations in terms of future needs… I would highly recommend Rick Menard Heating and Cooling for any HVAC related work.
