I had a manicure and pedicure at Canada Nails Spa Orleans. The salon was clean, and the staff were polite, but unfortunately I left disappointed. I asked for the same design as my previous nails, but with teal replacing the pink. I chose the closest turquoise colour they had available. The technician asked if I was open to adding white flowers because she enjoys doing floral designs, and I agreed to that change. However, when I questioned the colours during the appointment, I was told to "trust the process." Unfortunately, the finished result was not what I had asked for. While the nails are neatly done, they turned out bright turquoise fading into blue rather than the teal and purple ombré I had requested. Another thing that made me uncomfortable was that the staff spent most of my appointment chatting and laughing with each other in another language. I completely respect that everyone has the right to speak their preferred language, but as a customer it left me feeling excluded and uncomfortable because I had no idea what was being discussed. I still paid for my service and left a tip because I appreciate the time and effort that went into the work. However, I believe customers should receive the design they requested or be consulted if changes are needed. I hope this feedback encourages better communication so future customers leave with exactly what they asked for.
I do not recommend this place at all. This was the worst experience I’ve had. She didn’t take responsibility or admit any wrongdoing. I paid $45 for terrible service. Completely unacceptable—don’t waste your time or money here.
I found Do a few years ago now and have never been happier with my nails since ❤️ Do is the most caring and kind and she always makes you feel special when you see her! She is one of a kind! I am soooo happy I found Do. If you want a great experience with someone who actually cares about you as a client I HIGHLY recommend her - she is simply amazing!!
Terrible Experience! Would not give a star lol Absolutely horrible experience. I waited a very long time before anyone took me, while they kept telling every person who walked in it would be a 45-minute wait even though there were already four people waiting before me. Then, someone came in for their appointment, and the worker told her she had already taken someone else instead and made that poor client leave! When it was finally my turn, the staff were rude and constantly talking to each other in their language, ignoring clients. The lady near the front desk (beside Jen) was rude to two clients in a row right in front of everyone. They also don’t clean properly the place didn’t look sanitary, and tools didn’t seem disinfected between clients. The way they applied my acrylics was sloppy I even mentioned it better not fall off because it didn’t look right from the start. It took them over 1 hour and 30 minutes to do a simple shellac acrylic set. When I got home, one nail completely broke off, ripping my natural nail and causing it to bleed. I’m now injured and in pain. Another nail also started lifting and is about to fall off. Do not go here. Terrible service, rude staff, poor quality work, and completely unprofessional.
