I’m very disappointed with Reliance after sales services. I would not even rate them 1 star but will give them a negative 10 rating. I got new AC unit installed on May 9 and after two weeks when we run the AC for the first time as it was 30 degrees outside. The pipes and everything froze. I called reliance requesting them to send the installers - Dustin, Kevin and Lewis as they exactly know what job work was done but instead they have sent me three different technicians on May 18, 19 and 20 and still my AC is not fixed to date as none of the technicians exactly able to diagnose the issue with a brand new AC installed. Technician who showed on May 19 thinks that it is a leak issue and said “but even fixing it I can’t say for sure if this will run for a day or a year” Brand new equipment and don’t know if it will last a year compare to a lifespan of an AC for 15 years. I will never recommend reliance to anyone in future based on my experience with them. I am so frustrated as I have to miss work for three consecutive days and still the issue is not fixed. I have a mother with chronic conditions and a dog who was suffering because the house temperature inside was 29.3 degrees with humidity touching 71%. While installation they even damaged my closet in the bathroom by piercing the nail through it. I am going to cancel my contract with Reliance it is not worth the suffering and how they have handled my issue.
Sam provided me an amazing upfront expectation to what financing options are available to replace a broken coil and leak, with a brand new Carrier AC unit for 10 years of warranty and AC cooling. The work done by Russ and his teammate was stellar! I have 6 months to start "eating" away this ~$6400 replacement unit, but the cost of a leaking coil was ALWAYS explained as a 2500 or more repair. Can't fault the humans for capitalism involved in how expensive this was. I had previously replaced it in 2018 (HVAC tech didnt explain the ICP warranty registration), but I give 5/5 as I feel confident in the work and the individuals involved in getting the AC up and running so fast.
Reliance technician Logan was absolutely fantastic! He took the time to thoroughly diagnose the issue with our AC unit instead of rushing through the appointment. He was incredibly friendly, professional, and very knowledgeable. He explained everything clearly, walked me through the possible causes and my repair options, and made sure I understood everything before he left. I really appreciated the time and care he put into his work. Based on this experience, I’ll definitely be requesting Logan for any future service visits. Highly recommend!
We had an excellent experience with Saffy from start to finish. He was professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything in a way that was easy to understand without any pressure. Relisnce just replaced my furnace and central AC. The sales person was very knowledgeable and confidently answered all my questions. The delivery was very quick and the install team fid a terrific job. They slso cleaned up and removed all the decommissioned hardware and garbage, and gave me a wrap up lesson on the new equipment. I am thoroughly pleased with Reliance.
