I am an Ottawa based artist. I have been getting all my printing done at Merriam Print for years and this is a long overdue review. I have a very specific process where I use printed images to fit my canvas sizes and I stencil in the images from the printing I have produced at Merriam Print .
Not only is the quality of the printing top notch, but what makes me come back year after year is the wonderful service Jia the owner, and staff provide. My last project was a 12 foot wide by 5 foot tall mural. I had to print my image in 4 sections to accommodate the size of the wall. Jia took my image and cut it into 4 sections, lining up everything perfectly so it would fit this wall with precision. I could never have done this on my own and is just one example of the above and beyond service I receive from the staff here at Merriam Print.
It feels really great to know that I have a reliable printer who takes the time to understand my needs and is hands on to help me accomplish all my projects.
Whether you are looking for simple printing, cards, help with graphic designs or something a bit more unique like my needs, I have found this print shop and the staff to be so helpful and accommodating with all my out of the box ideas.

EDIT: Leaving the original review below this paragraph. I was contacted and refunded for this situation, changed from 1 to 5 stars. No complaints regarding the quality of their work. This was a miscommunication with a new employee who overcharged me.
Scammers. Quoted me $15 on the phone for colour printing a document for me, even asked the number of pages on the phone. So I went, they printed my document and charged me more than double claiming $15 was the base fee even though I told them the number of pages on the phone and they made no mention of this.
Avoid them. You can get printing jobs done a bit over half the cost pretty well anywhere else.

I had them print my novel, and I'm really happy with how it turned out. Excellent communication of how it was going, and many different options to choose from. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for local bookbinding.

I received a great service from Merriam Prints! I needed a birthday magazine last minute and couldn't seem to find any other place that could do it. I'm glad I took a shot with this place! Super friendly service and nice finishing product. Definitely recommend for any projects!

I've used Merriam Print for a variety of creative projects over the years. I am very impressed with their professionalism and dedication to perfection. They really go above and beyond the call of duty, warning me about potential issues before they occur, delivering products ahead of schedule, and just making sure I'm always completely satisfied. Highly recommended!
